Wow, can't believe how little time I've had to post recently, sorry about that, I left it on a cliffhanger and everything. I'll catch you up after this. So, where did I leave it? Oh right, we're fighting the weird pokémon with the dark swirly aura things, and a school full of children were about to swarm out into the playground. What were we supposed to do? How could we keep everyone safe? Fortunately, Jonny had an idea. 'Onix! Wall them off!'
Onix lay down, making a huge stone wall, blocking the strip of playground with doors from the batle, just as they opened. The children started to pour out, and stopped suddenly. There were screams, cries of surprise, and I think a few fainted. Mutters and excited talk broke out, and I saw frantic teachers trying to control the crowds. Dratini was using wrap creatively, trying to strangle raticate, while both Rattatas were engaged in a heated battle (Literally, in my Rattata's case, he was using Flamewheel). The charmander was running towards Onix, but Charmeleon slammed it to the ground, clawing at it furiously. Oddish had managed to poison raticate, Snover had been hit hard, but was using Ingrain to recover health. Stuck in place, he was firing attacks as best he could.
I got Butterfree to sleep powder the children and teachers, just in time because one of my old teachers looked like she was about to demand a lot of answers. Butterfree couldn't get a clear shot of our foes without hitting our other fighters, but it was going well.
Raticate suddenly jerked it's head, and Dratini flew through the air. I leapt and caught him, wincing as I crashed to the floor.
'That looks much cooler when Ash does it.' I groaned, rubbing my side as I got up.
We heard laughter. My shoulder twinged as a glowing ripple burst into life in front of us, and a man strode out of it, sorting through a pack of cards. He had baggy black trousers, a black shirt with metal shoulder patches, and a blue design of a rectangle with a blue sphere inside it on the front. A bright orange belt, a plain metal helmet with tufts of hair sticking out, a tiny screen folded down from his helmet to cover one eye, and he something resembling a large metal fin attached to his left arm. 'That's quite enough. You have fought bravely, but now, it is time to end this!'
We all stared for about two seconds, and collapsed into fits of laughter.
I struggled for breath. 'Oh, it's SO much worse in real life! I thought you guys looked daft in the game! So you're, what, Team Magma? No, too weird even for that.....'
'I am not from any team you know of, foolish 'heroes'!'
'Right, then I think you took a wrong turn. The Yu-gi-oh Universe is back through the portal, past Digiworld, and then it's the third on your left. If you hit Neverland you've gone too far.'
We all suffered new bouts of giggles, and the man looked annoyed.
'You will suffer for your mockery!' He yelled, and put three cards in outlines on his giant fin. Each of the slots had a tiny figure above it: Model figures of the three monsters we were fighting. Images of super potions appeared in front of Rattata, Raticate, and Charmander. The images dissolved into points of light, and they looked much better. 'I also use....pluspower!'
All three began to glow red, and our fighters were thrown aside.
Dratini looked furious. He leapt from my arms, quivering.
We were still staring at the man. 'What...what are you doing?'
'Sealing your fate.'
'Thanks, that clears that up.'
Everyone looked exhausted, but Dratini was heading out towards the man.
'Oh look, the worm has come back for more!'
'You shut up about Dratini!'
'Shut up you weirdo!'
Dratini let out a cry, and wind started to whip at us.
'What is that? What are you doing?!'
'I...I think...Dratini's learned Twister!'
The Twister started to form, sucking up Raticate, Charmander, and the other Rattata, whirling them round and round, slamming them together, lifting them into the air and towards the man. One by one, the figures on the man's arm fin flickered, and went out.
'No! No matter, I shall simply use-'
He was cut short as the Twister cast his fainted creatures at his feet. We all cheered, and yelled 'Get him!'
Our Pokémon got slowly up, and started to prepare attacks. Suddenly, a leaf shot from over our heads, and sliced cleanly through the card the man was holding up. A huge volley of attacks struck him, and we heard a cry of 'Unleash Hell!' followed by a great torrent of leaves shooting by over our heads to join the mega attack hitting the card man. He was blasted into the air, and as he went, he was surrounded by a glow, and cried out 'Master! Please no! I know I've failed you, but-Nooooooooooo.......' his scream faded out as he was consumed by the glow, and vanished.
We started to turn round, looking for the source of the leaves. Ragnarok looked Thoughtful. 'It's been months since the trouble started, but this is the first guy we've met who seemed to be controlling the wild Pokémon, resulting in that shadowy effect thing-'
The rest of his sentence was drowned out by a yell. 'Whoah whoah whoah, hang on a minute!'
This time the voice helped us hone in on it's owner. We looked up at a roof of the school. Two figures were standing on it. The sun was behind them, making them silhouettes against the sky. The small, lumpy silhouette identified itself. 'Bulbasaur!'
The taller, human figure called out, her long coat flapping in the breeze. 'Did I hear correctly? Tempest, Sammy, you've known about this for months, and have had your own Pokémon that whole time, and didn't think of telling me? You two are in SO much trouble!'
