So, bit of explaining to do, yeah. My last blog was, to say the least, a bit confusing. My head was a bit messed up because of the huge swirling acid trip of psychic energy that was warping reality around us.
Yeah, we got Unknown'd.
Our first gap was because a rip opened right onto their tomb and pulled us in. The energy was enough to wake them up, but the energy was all crazy with dimension crossing.....stuff, and they went a bit nuts. I don't know, the tear woke them up and they freaked out about it. We saw a LOT of stuff, they couldn't make up their mind what they were doing, and we started to lose our minds in there, flitting from one twisted pocket reality to another.
I eventually thought of us trying to focus that power on getting us home. We all concentrated on going home, and all we got was a warped creation of it outside the vortex of unknown. I heard Kirlia's voice in my head, telling me the shard was the key to them opening a portal instead of just remaking a new world around us, so I stabbed my arm into the vortex.
I can't describe the feeling. It was like............it should have hurt like my arm was being reduced to bone by piranhas, but it felt too detached, and........sort of tingly, or sparkly, if that makes sense. Like they were just going right through my arm, and only the shard was being affected.
Throughout the whole thing, we'd been catching glimpses of Raikou prowling around at the edges of whatever crazy landscape we were in at the time. Pichu always seemed happy to see him, so I'm pretty sure he was the Unknown's primary latch, like the little girl (Molly?) was before?
The shard thing worked though. A shimmering circular portal appeared with our base visible inside, and we leapt through.
And then so did they. All of them.
So we're back, but there's an out of control swarm of reality warping alphabet running wild, so that's going to be fun.
