The sword and the stones! part 2

We had to leave everything where it was and run over to market square, but Glaceon had started packing stones into my bag. It wasn't as heavy as expected, so I grabbed it and rushed off to catch up with the others.
It was true. All the birds in the square had become Pokémon, and had started flapping around causing chaos, confused. Murkrows, Pidgeys, Taillows, Starlys, Natus, a Skarmory, and a Chatot.
'Great, Oddish is Grass, that's not good against flying......'
'Fighting isn't that great either, right?'
'Take the Murkrows, the dark should cancel out the flying and make your attacks normal. Butterfree, use confusion and avoid flying attacks, Rattata, protect the public while they evacuate the area, Glaceon, all the normal fliers you can get, Jonny, Onix would probably be good, Rag, can you and Charmeleon go for Skarmory?'
'On it!'
He ran off, and Jonny released Onix, before heading for the group of panicky market goers and helping them leave.
Sammy was looking at the flock of birds nervously. One Pokémon with a type disadvantage. Not the best position to be in.
'Poison everything. I'd say that was the best approach.'
'Right. Oddish, Poisonpowder!'
Oddish launched a cloud of purple spores upwards, straight into the faces of five birds. Blinded by the dust, they crashed into a wall, flickering with a purple glow.
As Sammy cheered I went in pursuit of Rattata, dodging an Ice beam and Rag directing all three of his Pokémon at once. Rattata was leaping at a Natu, scaring it away from a little girl. She bent down to pat Rattata and thank him, smiling, but squealed as he pounced at Natu, going in for another Bite attack. I saw a taillow and a starly sweeping in on him from behind, and batted them away with my arm, getting a couple of nasty pecks. There were a few people, being guided out by Jonny, who were looking around in confusion, and seemed to think the birds were still normal birds, and a lot of people were looking at Glaceon, wondering what was taking out so many birds, unable to see him at all.
Then things went downhill. Skarmory escaped Charmeleon to steel wing Onix, Oddish was hit by a speedy Spearow, the Chatot let out a yell that knocked back Pichu and Snover, Hitmonchan took one too many flying type moves, Rattata was flung onto a rooftop, Butterfree, who had benn using powders and confusion suffered a direct hit from three Starlys, Charmeleon was overwhelmed by psychic moves from Natus, and I only just caught Glaceon as five birds slamming into him threw him backwards. We were all separated, and as I backed towards my bag, I saw groups of birds homing in on each of us. The eevees were gathered together in a huddle, biting and snapping at their foes, except one, the first one we encountered, who was cowering in the middle of the group, not attacking. Then three of them looked at Glaceon. Who nodded, and then looked up at me.
'Glay! Glacee! Ceeeeon!'
'Attack? No....Cover?'
'Cee!'
I slowly lowered him to the ground, and then batted frantically at our captors as they went for him. More joined our lot, and I caught a glimpse of Happiny pulling little oranges, satsumas or something, from her pouch and creeping about, handing them out to our Pokémon.
Suddenly, the three eevees that had nodded broke free of group, running, and leapt into the air. Glaceon made three head jerk movements by my bag, and three stones flew from him. They were caught by three sets of teeth mid flight.
A burst of light filled the square.
Three eevees had jumped into the air. A Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon landed.
