We would have helped him anyway....

Sorry, no cheesy title, turns out I'm bad at them. I'll try again sometime.

Now, we like to think of ourselves as helpful. So when our mysterious new friend Dragon asked if we could give him a hand with something, we said we'd do our best. But Glaceon seemed to think we should battle first. I asked Dragon if that was ok.
'Ah, but of course! In the world of Pokémon, a lot of people request a battle before assisting you in some way. I accept. One moment please.'
I started to ask whether he even HAD a pokémon, but he held up a finger for quiet.
'Moira, if you can hear me, I'm going to need my old friend, who you have been looking after so dutifully, back.'
He held out a hand, and a square of air slid away to show a White light, out of which dropped a Pokéball. It looked old, and had one of those winding mechanisms like that one in the fourth film. He opened it, and released a Dragonite.
The cartoon doesn't do them justice. Such a beautiful creature, so graceful. Wow. The Dragonite looked round, and seemed delighted to see Dragon again, flying over to give him a hug.
Soon, we were ready to battle. Glaceon was keen to go first, and hey, I wasn't going turn down a X4 advantage.
'Glaceon! Ice Beam!'
Dragonite dodged with ease, and flew forwards, landing a big hit Dragon Rush. Even weakened by type disadvantage, it was devastating blow to Glaceon, who was pushed backwards, wincing. Next we tried Icy Wind, and the widespread blast caught Dragonite, who was slowed, letting Glaceon get in a direct hot with Ice Beam. Dragonite landed, one wing half coated in ice. Then it used flamethrower. That was it for Glaceon. Plus the heat thawed Dragonite's wing. Dratini vs Dragonite was fun, but Dratini doesn't know any dragon moves yet, and Dragonite knows two, so it was a one-hit KO. So was Butterfree, thanks to bug being weak to fire. Rattata actually scored three hits, but was beaten by Dragon Pulse.
Ragnarok had a go too, and Snover managed to hit him with Icy Wind like we had, but then got hit with flamethrower. OHKO. Dragonite, it turns out, has Water Pulse, so Charmeleon didn't last long, despite managing to land two metal claws. Pichu decided to hide behind Rag, peering round his legs and trembling, so he didn't actually fight. Hitmonchan isn't good against flying types, but got in a few punches, Oddish the same managed to use poisonpowder, Onix had a type advantage, but suffered a OHKO from Water Pulse. Jonny's newest Pokémon, Pidgey, didn't last long, but Happiny surprised us all by grabbing Dragonite's tail, and spinning it round, then throwing it at the wall. Dragonite got up, shaking it's head, and used flamethrower, sending Happiny running back to Jonny, blowing a raspberry at Dragonite when it was safely in a hug.

Sorry it's taken so long to post this, Uni has taken up a lot of time.

So, now we're trying to help Dragon. He says his universe is in danger, and he needs to get back to it, so we've promised to help him get back. We have NO idea how though....
